Summary

Updating (with breaking changes) the mechanism to send socket control messages over the wire as an array, and updating the tests to match

I have added

• any new feature information to the documentation
• any new environment variables to the documentation
• any new endpoint information to the documentation
• any new lines required at the bottom of every file (POSIX)

I have removed

• any cases of logging that does not use the Elective Utility Logger
• any replace commands from the go.mod file
